Get a free uber Ride This July 4th

Enjoy the celebration safely
with a sober ride on us.

About the program

When someone gets behind the wheel after drinking, they put innocent lives at risk. The Fourth of July is one of the most dangerous holidays on the road, and Texas feels it more than most. The state has one of the highest shares of deadly alcohol-related crashes in the country, with NHTSA data showing more traffic deaths tied to alcohol-impaired driving than nearly any other state. As an Austin personal injury law firm, Byrd Davis Alden & Henrichson, LLP has witnessed firsthand the devastating impact drunk driving has on families.

To help prevent drunk-driving crashes this holiday, we are providing eligible Texas residents with free Uber rides up to $30 on July 4th to help reduce alcohol-related crashes on our roads.

According to the NHTSA, 2,719 people were killed in crashes over the Fourth of July holiday period from 2020 to 2024, and 38% of the drivers involved were drunk. This initiative can help prevent more senseless drunk driving deaths by giving people a safe ride home.

Why This Fourth of July Is Especially Risky

Fourth of July is one of the most dangerous nights on Texas roads, and it has more crash deaths on average than any other day of the year, as per the IIHS. New Year’s Eve, Fourth of July, and Easter are the top three holidays for DWI arrests in Texas, as noted by the Texas Department of Public Safety

As Austin personal injury lawyers, we’ve represented far too many victims of drunk driving crashes. That’s why Byrd Davis Alden & Henrichson, LLP is offering free sober rides across the 6-county area to help residents get home alive.

WHY Byrd Davis Alden & Henrichson, LLP IS PAYING FOR YOUR UBER RIDE

Byrd Davis Alden & Henrichson, LLP, Austin’s oldest personal injury law firm, established in 1959, represents victims of car crashes, including those caused by drunk driving accidents. After witnessing the heartbreak these tragedies cause, our firm is taking action to stop them before they happen.

“July 4th is a time for celebrations, not for tragedies, but unfortunately, we see this happen every year. After representing victims of drunk driving crashes, we’ve seen the heartbreak and utter devastation that families have to endure, and it’s entirely preventable. That’s why we’re taking action to stop them before they happen.”
